Hello Blogspot!

By popular demand, people have asked that I join Blogspot to post new updates instead of using my myspace page. I originally opted for myspace because I could post up my music but I understand that it's somewhat of an inconvenience to subscribe to my blog there, if you don't have an account..so here I am on Blogpot! But you can still check out my myspace for new music (not that I have any...yet =/ )

So what's going on with me? Well, ever since my sister went off to college, the house has definitely been a lot quieter and relaxing. It's amazing what one less person can do to a household. Although I have to admit, it's been a little bit boring not having my sister to boss around or hang out with, but she'll be back soon for my cousin's wedding.

Speaking of which, these days I've been helping my cousin a lot with wedding preparations. It's been a lot of fun since we haven't had much time to hang out before so we're having some great bonding time =) Her wedding is next Saturday and I'll be performing at the ceremony, which I'm really nervous about. Weddings are such an important celebration that should be nothing less than perfect, so I hope I do a good job and not screw up!

Other than being my cousin's slave and chillin' around the house, I'll be starting an internship at Jazz at Lincoln Center as a PR intern so I'm really excited about that! It is unpaid which means I'll still have to get a part time job, but this is right up my alley for what I want to do in the future so I think this will be a great experience, not to mention, a great resume booster!

Spiritually, I've been really stretched and challenged with my family but this was the very reason why I came back to NY and I'm praying that I just have the patience to see what God wants to do here at home. Also, starting this month, I've decided to attend RWC more regularly to be more plugged in. I've been attending my home church for a majority of the summer and have been going out to Remnant sporadically, but I know that God is moving within AMI so I'm leaning towards committing to RWC. Again, the only inconvenience is the commute but that'll just have to be a sacrifice. Small groups are starting up this week so I'm hoping to meet new faces. *Sigh*...it's like freshman year all over again.
